Civil Society Engagement
Open For Business was founded in close consultation with civil society groups – both global organizations and local activists – and our programs are continuing to be developed and implemented by working closely with LGBT+ communities around the world. Many of the groups we engage with are listed below.
Working with global organizations
We work with a number of organizations dedicated to LGBT+ inclusion globally. We partner with these organizations on various events to advance our Global Influencer Program and to bring different sectors together to discuss how to collaborate with the private sector to advance LGBT+ rights.
Working with local organizations
We work closely with local civil society when planning and implementing our Local Influencer Programs. For each program, we aim to hire a local person from civil society or the private sector to lead the program and to ensure civil society has a seat at the table as we engage with business leaders.
